For those of you who were following the continuing saga of is he going? is he not going? well... he is going. Official word was confirmed on Friday Oct. 19th that 10/22 was his date to report for training.Chris is a naval reservist in the Seabee division, he will be a land unit deployed somewhere in Iraq soon. While I have mixed feelings about the war and the current administration running our country, I think it takes a lot of courage to be willing to be sent at a moments notice to another part of the world to serve for the United States of America.
May God keep and protect Chris safe and sound while he is there. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers. Maybe while we are at it, we should keep our fingers crossed that he will meet some hot Iraqi woman, or maybe an unmarried with no baggage military gal-pal, fall in love, come home with her, get married, and give me a niece or nephew!!!! :o)
