A night out...

A few weeks ago Greg got word that his work was looking into getting a luxury suite at the Rose Garden and tickets for managers to see Rob Zombie and Ozzy Osbourne in concert. We were thinking it was probably for December sometime. Instead, it turned out to be Wednesday night, 11/14.

That day was shaping up to be really crappy as we had the bad news just as the day started that Greg's grandma died. She had been suffering for a long time and the news was expected, but never the less, it was still terrible to hear and we were both very sad. We decided to buck up and go on with our plans as expected.

We ended up having a fun night and it was just what Greg needed to relax and take some stress off his mind. The concert was great, the music was fantastic, they both put on a killer show (we were able to thank the audience for boob flashing and lighter waving to boot). It was a mass of females dressed like hookers in fishnets and bustiers with hair so blown out it looked as though it was styled in front of a jet turbine; there were your stereotypical mullet sporting, ozzfest t-shirt wearing, male groupies; then there was the emo'd up in all black, guy-liner, chain attired teens; and us (just some beer drinking, 80's metal loving fans, haha). The suite was well, sweet. We loved it and had a great time and were glad for the distraction and people watching entertainment it brought.

Here are some pix from the night (all from our cell phones so quality is pretty much bad...)

View from the suite.

Ozzy or maybe Zombie. Who knows. Either way, it kicked ass.

More concert.

After the concert.
